The Box is composed of 4 essential knives for the cooking: an office knife, a notched knife, a vegetables knife, a peeler. Handles are varnished.

The kitchen knives have a wooden handle and stainless steel blade which provides excellent cutting quality, is corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen.

Opinel use Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome and requires no special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives excellent cutting edge.
