Founded by knife enthusiast Gilbert Cooper, Cooper Cutlery is a family-run American knife maker. The company works from a small shop on the Cooper family farm in Winchester, Ohio. Gilbert works alongside his wife Debbie and sons Seth and Matthew. After acquiring machinery, parts, and trademarks from the historic Queen Cutlery Company factory when it closed in 2018, he restored the equipment to continue classic American pocketknife traditions. Using many machines over a century old, Cooper Cutlery crafts handmade knives. They use hand-pinning, grinding, honing, and sharpening to create durable heirloom pieces.

Red Hill Cutlery carries a wide range of knives from Cooper Cutlery. Brands include Big Chief, Foster Bros., Dollar Knife Company, New York Knife Co., Beaver Falls Cutlery, and Battle Axe Brand. Each line features classic patterns, quality materials, and traditional craftsmanship. Customers can enjoy durable, American-made knives that honor the heritage of pocketknife making.
