ESEE Knives began in 1997, when Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin started reshaping the survival and wilderness industry. Being frustrated with the exaggeration and hype often associated with “survival” gear. They launched Randall’s Adventure & Training to bring realistic tools and knowledge to the consumer market.

While working under contract with the Peruvian Air Force’s “Escuela De Supervivencia En La Selva” (School of Jungle Survival), also known by the acronym ESSEL. They introduced many clients to the art of survival in the vast Peruvian Amazon jungle.

After a number of years operating in South America, they relocated their training stateside. It was there that a sister Company was launched to produce high quality field grade knives and gear – ESEE Knives

Their first design was the RTAK made by Wicked Knife Company in Arkansas and later produced by Ontario Knife Company (OKC). They also developed the TOPS Knives made Laser Strike. After spending five years developing the RAT line for OKC, they launched ESEE Knives.

The company’s philosophy is simple: treat the customer with respect, keep the prices fair, provide the best in quality, and never teach a skill or provide a piece of gear that hasn’t been tested in the real world.

Every student of Randall’s Adventure & Training leaves with a set of skills that will stay with them throughout their life. Furthermore, every end-user of an ESEE product knows they are backed by the industry’s best warranty and customer service.

All the owners and employees of ESEE/Randall’s Adventure & Training live the lifestyle of the gear they produce. No suit and tie, just hard-won truth, reflected in some of the world’s best knives, gear and training.
