Description
Ever since the first Barlow knife was created in England over 400 years ago, it stayed a true legend in the knife world, so much that it has been interwoven into Americana as well. From George Washington to Mark Twain this pattern is a part of history. And now we have the NEXT Barlow for your collection…
One-Arm-Man “Razor” Blade: This unique blade was made famous during Civil War times, when amputees from the war would need a pocket knife they could open with one hand. Designed to be used by men who had lost, or lost use of, an arm in the field—or on the field of battle. The razor looking tip on the end of the blade was made to slightly hook on the edge of your pocket to easily open with one hand. The design slightly resembles a “straight razor” blade thus many referring it to a Razor Barlow.
