Description
In its two-handed version, the popular Boker Plus Lancer features a stonewashed finished blade, made of rugged D2 steel, that opens with a nail nick and is secured with a sturdy frame lock. The design, by Ukrainian knifemaker Serge Panchenko, is lightweight, compact and flat for easy carry. The sturdy build conveys reassuring solidity and ruggedness. The lanyard hole and pocket clip (tip-up) complete the package.
With a chromium content of 12%, D2 – a tool steel – can certainly be classified as a stainless steel. Since its chromium content is right on the threshold, however, a little more care for the D2 wouldn’t go amiss.
