Drawing on decades of martial arts experience and teaching combat tactics to the world’s most elite soldiers and law enforcement, James Williams developed the HZ4–a close quarters battle knife made for the modern warrior. Paying tribute to the hira-zukuri–a classical Japanese straight sword–the HZ4 leverages the same powerful cutting power of longer HZ6 fixed blade, but now in a more compact and concealable form with a total blade length of 4.75”. The Japanese-style tanto blade is made from tough SK-5 carbon steel with a black coating for covert carry and is devastating when used for slashing and penetrating. The textured G10 handle provides excellent grip even in wet conditions and with gloved hands, while the versatile Kydex sheath can be carried discreetly thanks to a high-retention modular clip.
