With a 2 mm blade made of German carbon steel, an ergonomic handle, and a sturdy finger guard, it combines function, tradition, and design. The colors Dala Red and Orsa Sandstone draw inspiration from the pink-tinted sandstone of Orsa, which for over a thousand years has been used to sharpen tools and shape craftsmanship.
Color of the Year 2026 unites Morakniv’s craft tradition with the color palette and design language of Dalarna. Dala Red and Orsa Sandstone reflect the meeting between the sandstone’s light, natural tone and the classic Dala red – a tribute to craftsmanship and history. The 91 mm long blade in German carbon steel (C100S) is 2 mm thick and has a Scandi grind edge that provides strength, control, and precision in every cut.
This craft knife is designed for those who need a safe and sharp tool close at hand. The thin blade and the sharpness of the carbon steel make it ideal for woodworking, assembly, and precision work. Easy to resharpen – time after time.
