The Endura® 4 began as one the original clip-carried lightweight folding knives and has evolved to become one of Spyderco’s most popular and iconic models. This elite version of it elevates the design with CPM® SPY27® blade steel. Developed in close cooperation with Crucible® Industries and exclusive to Spyderco, CPM SPY27 supercharges the cobalt-enriched chemistry of VG-10 stainless steel with niobium, nitrogen, and increased volumes of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium to offer an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. This knife’s satin-finished, full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade takes full advantage of these properties and is paired with a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle injection molded in a distinctive cobalt blue—one of the signature handle colors of Spyderco’s elite SPY27 family of knives. The handle also houses the knife’s sturdy back lock mechanism and a four-position pocket clip that provides a choice of left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry.
