This elite Sprint Run™ expression of the MicroJimbo™ proudly showcases a blade crafted from CPM® 15V®, a remarkable material that offers the highest wear resistance of any cold-work tool steel available today. Containing almost 15 percent vanadium, its advanced alloy composition creates an exceptionally high volume of vanadium carbides in its microstructure. In knife blades, this translates to unparalleled cutting performance and edge retention. Spyderco’s limited-edition CPM 15V knives are further enhanced by a specialized heat-treating protocol developed by acclaimed custom knifemaker Shawn Houston. This Sprint Run MicroJimbo faithfully includes all the proven elements of this design, including a high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip. To clearly distinguish it as a member of our CPM 15V family, it also features brown peel-ply-textured G-10 handle scales and Shawn Houston’s “Triple B” logo laser engraved on the reverse side of the full-flat-ground blade.
