The Mk.2 Knife & Tool Sharpener is an improvement upon the original Work Sharp Knife & Tool Sharpener, which was the first knife sharpener designed to sharpen every knife you own.  Building on that success the Mk.2 provides even more sharpening benefit for the avid knife user. Using 1/2” x 12” flexible abrasive belts in coarse, medium, and fine grits (P80, P220, 6000) the sharpener is able to sharpen not just straight bladed knives, but also curved knives, tanto blades, filet knives, serrated knives, gut hooks and virtually any other shape of knife blade.

The Mk.2 Knife & Tool Sharpener provides an improved precision sharpening guide to ensure that you get the proper angle every time. Quickly toggle between the 25° angle for outdoor and pocket knives and the 20° angle for thinner blades and kitchen knives. All Sharpening Guide design has scratch-resistant leather linings to protect blade faces. The Edge Guide helps to support the blade during the entire process making it more precise and repeatable. Edge Guide can also be quickly flipped out of the way to create more access to accommodate thumb studs, handles, clips and accommodate sharpening a wide range to edge tools.

A two-speed motor delivers a low speed for more control when sharpening a knife, yet still provides all the power you need for heavier sharpening and grinding tasks on tools like lawnmower blades, axes, and other common lawn & garden tools. Speed control is ergonomically placed within reach to make speed adjustments fast and easy when sharpening.
