The Modern Gladius is a shorter version of the classic Roman weapon portrayed in films like ‘Gladiator’. It is made of 0.190” thick 1095 carbon steel with a black traction coating. The double-edged tanto-esque blade is designed to be great for stabbing thrusts and slashing cuts. It has a fuller on each side of the edge also. The tan canvas Micarta handle is tapered very slightly towards the guard to help lock your hand in place. It comes in a black Kydex sheath with a leather dangler for easy carry.
