Years ago, Bear & Son Cutlery introduced an awesome reimagining of the famous Barlow pattern. The designs were created and perfected by Bear and were set to launch later that year. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances that pattern never saw the light of day. Since then, RHC has been after Bear to release this to the public, and as they say “the squeaky wheel gets the grease.”
We are proud to be the FIRST to debut this redesigned and reimagined pattern. With the historic lineage of the Barlow pattern dating back in to the 1800s, it is hard improved or adjust something as iconic as the Barlow, until now. In many ways 2024 has been coined the Year of the Barlow, with the pattern reaching a resurgence of peak popularity as several cutlery companies have reintroduced the pattern this year. The Barlow has never been hotter and how else to see this pattern thrive into the future but with a new addition to the Barlow family.
Introducing the NEW Little Barlow. Taking from the popular 3 ½” version we shrunk the famous pattern down to a brisk 3” closed, which fits perfectly in the watch pocket of your jeans. With the strength and durability of its bigger brothers, the Little Barlow is prime for the picking in a variety of handle materials for its initial launch. The pattern will be available in more handle materials in 2025, but RHC has acquired the first batch released to the public. These will only be available from RHC with the rest available to other dealers in later in 2025 which means the initial production run quantities will be limited. So now is the perfect time to add this sharp little guy to your collection and your Christmas list!
